Mine is that of extreme rage. I could die doing this job(that Ugandans could be doing) because some other state's national guard wouldn't take all their soldiers.
This, in addition to the fact that we are in a state of "Responsible Drawdown". We are leaving the country. The war is o v e r!!!
This, at a time when all of the branches of the military are meeting or exceeding reqruitment quotas. Some of our recalls are being barred from reenlistment. If they do not need us then why call us back?
We are being treated like unwelcome help at best. Hated slaves at worst.
Personally this situation is worse because I begged the army to stop loss me so that I could go to war with the First Armored Division. They are still in their deployment that I would have been on in Mosul, Iraq. The army decided that they did not need me in the 'war' and so I was honorably discharged. 6 months later I am in a worse state than I have been in my 6 years of military service. Stop loss was ended and with it the stop loss pay. "Why pay them when we can just recall them and wreck their entire lives?"
There are thousands of us.
