Bio/Info: Karen Wells: singer, songwriter, poet put to music -- is beautiful like the rain with a natural ability to fuse her passion for music with a spiritual heart. with the new solo CD " Beautiful like the Rain" and her last solo CD "Wild Weed Child" Karen is blossoming now with a full band, and more new songs are in the works. Eric Guerra: multi- talented musician: guitar ,bass, mandolin, harmonica, percussion and drummer .he has alot to offer and is always there to find that catchy guitar lick. Eric comes up with new songs all the time.Eric is also an upcoming artist and sells his original works of art during their gigs.He also created the new CD front cover. Karen Wells Band, now coloring San Antonio with a beautiful blend of Texas roots, folk, and alternative rock, are the unique result derived when four experienced musicians come together to make a little noise. They bring a performance carried by energetic and passionate originals. Although the core of a show consists of Eric on lead guitar, Karen on rythm guitar, Hector on drums and the newest addition of Houston on upright bass helping to add that drive, the group will shun no instrument in their musical exploration. With past performances at locations such as Luchenback Dancehall,Shriner University, Casbeers, Blue Star Brewing Co., and many regional festivals,clubs and restaurants, the group has been known to break out the harmonica, mandolin, and even the cello. In past years the artists have released a number of CDs including: the 2001 release of " Rain Sessions", "Wild Weed Child" in 2004, and "Beautiful like the Rain" being their latest release; they are currently writing music for their next project
